Google Officially Announces GPhone

Following Apple into the mobile phone world Google has officially announced the GPhone. This will be produced by many manufacturers and be in your hands as soon as the second half of 2008.

The GPhone will also be available on many carriers

Whats more is they have formed a huge Open Handset Alliance with 34 members, some big names here:

This GPhone OS technology promises to match or potentially surpass the capabilities of software made by Apple, Windows, Nokia, Palm, Research in Motion, and many others. This is really going to stir up the cell phone market with a flood of infinitely customizable high tech mobiles to choose from.
