What do you get when you combine a cell phone with Google Maps Street View, a built-in compass and GPS? Google's new Compass Mode, available first and exclusively (at least at launch) on the new T-Mobile G1 (http://www.modmygphone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1681).
Basically its like this - you're standing on a street corner, and you open Google Maps on your Android G1, and put it in Compass Mode. Then, you simply hold up the phone, and look around. The picture on the phone (Street View of Google Maps) will move with you, so it looks almost as if you just had the camera open.
