1. Battery life less than iPhone 3G from reports.
2. No exchange email
3. Great camera.... no zoom or flash
4. Non-standard headphone jack - adapter required
5. No video camera
6. No Adobe Flash compatibility (at the moment)
7. Slide out keyboard (as opposed to full touch screen)
The iPhone and G1 seem pretty similar as far as their restrictions. I think the Blackberry Storm with it's touch screen keyboard is going to be a strong competitor when it's released!

I personally like the slide out key board betterm the battery is driving me nuts though.

Yeah seriously, the battery is worse than my 3g iPhone. Only other gripe would be how the bottom part of the phone where the menu button gets in the way while I type.

Keyboard is great because it saves screen space from the evil keyboard.
The battery issue seems to be coming from the 3G Radio being used too much while idle. Disable the 3G and watch your battery soar.

When I had my 3g iPhone, I rarely used 3g due to how much the battery suffered. We all know how lithium ion is when you leave it on the charger for too long. You'll need a new battery in 8 months...

It does have 3g. I turned mine off for a day to test and there is a big difference in how long the battery lasts.
