availability of the g1?

First off I preordered the g1 a week ago and it said I would get it in November. I checked out a local store and they stated that they could
get it to me in 2-3 business days with overnight shipping charges. I
talked to a rep to cancel my online preorder and they stated that the g1
was completely sold out. I called the store back this morning to check on the status and they said its been in pending since wednesday. Does anyone have any idea what the status is on the availability of the g1?

....Hm.
I went into my T-mobile store not even intending to buy it...on a Saturday no less and had no trouble.
The Walmarts that are selling it for 140 something or the other + upgrade fee are all out though.
