Hey folks! Just headed over here via e-mail from modmymoto, exciting stuff, huh? I wonder if you would be able to flash an exsiting phone(motorola perhaps?), to use this Android OS? Sorry if someone already asked this as I just got here, and am all caught up in the wonder of the prospect of an open source cell phone!

gPhone is a buzz word for the Open Mobile Platform... which can be used with partner products such as HTC, Motorola etc. they are competing purely with the leading Symbian OS controlled by Nokia.

gPhone is a platform OS, and I seriously doubt of a handset to be released by the name of gPhone.
