Google stock soars to $735+ on Android announcement

Today, after the announcement of Android yesterday, Google shares (http://finance.google.com/finance?q=GOOG) reached a record high of $738.38.

Sanford C. Bernstein analyst Jeffrey Lindsay says he foresees an $850 level. 'We expect to see a vast improvement in the user experience of mobile devices in the next few years,' said Lindsay in one of his research notes. 'We expect that all of these features will drive strong revenue growth in the mobile area.'

well the gphone was announced this year instead of next year closer to the phone release so google's stock would soar and they can report a better fiscal year in 2007 . . . of course ;)
