Playing Video

basically can anyone tell me how.. i have encoded the MPEG video file into a MP4 but I can not play it... the market place video players (which I download) say there are no videos to play... Where on the sd chip do I save the MP4 to be able to play it? PLEASE HELP!!!

just place the mp4 file on the root of the SD chip... You can use AVC-free a program downloadable at download.com to convert the mpegs!!! it works great!!!

Im not sure if it's any help but this app says its free and converts a few files mpeg ect.. it says Ipod format which (not owning one myself so im not 100% sure) i think is mp4 anyway so should be the same.

I use OneClick iPod Video Converter 1.5 for the PC it works great! has lots of settings and customization...

found this for mac but it's not freeware ffmpegX 0.0.9y. The other way is most macs nowadays have the Windows shell (not sure the name) where you can install the A/V converter. So you can do it there.
