Android on Touch Diamond, almost there

Developers have been working hard to make Android possible on every smartphone out here. Recently, we have seen these efforts focused towards HTC smartphones like Touch HD.

The latest target is Touch Diamond. Devs are inching closer towards a stable release after they sort out some kernel issues. This is more of a proof-of-concept.

We have seen all these cool smartphones running Android, but what I really wonder is when(or if) we are going to see other platforms like OS X, Windows Mobile being ported to Gphones like G1, now that would be some thing!
