Does anyone have this problem?

My phone heats up when I plug it in to charge and the battery charge doesn't last more then an hour or less and it's dead..

Yes my phone gets very hot at times when its on charge either in the mains or plugged into computer. And yes mine did do that, but now i turn off things like wireless, gps ect... and i use various apps in the market e.g ToggleSettings, which i can turn other stuff off i don't need to use most of the day. Also turning the brightness down when the battery is running low is a great way to save some more G1 time.

this is like the 34234234post on dead or dying batteries. maybe there should be a thread for battery problems? lolol
