Default G1 Network setup for AT&T help

Here is what i got so far. I bought a g1 off of ebay, got an unlock code from tmobile, used a friends tmobile sim card to go through the activation. Now I have my AT&T sim card in the phone with Phone calls, and messaging working but no Edge/GPRS. I don't know how you set this up in android and need some help please. Thanks, Jared

How long did it take to get the unlock code from T-Mobile? I'm interested in using one on AT&T also...

@ jaredb3 - What you need to go is to settings -> wireless controls -> mobile networks into the APN settings then tap menu -> add APN then enter the following information:

name: att
username: wap.cingulargps.com
password: cingular1

then tap menu then save the APN and reboot your phone and you will be good to go...

@ Poseidon79 - I got mine unlocked at www.unlock-tmobileg1.com I know its a website that claims to be able to but they actually do unlock them. Took less then 24 hours...

cool, thanks spy.

Poseidon79- It took about 48hours for mine. I got mine free though. If you know anybody with tmobile they can get an unlock code every 90 days for any tmobile phone, doesnt even have to be one they bought. just have them email tmobile with your imei # and they will send it back usually in 24-48hrs.

Awesome... I have several friends with T-Mobile so that's great news. Looks like I'll be getting one off Ebay or Craigslist for Christmas for myself, haha.
