Help! No incoming calls
Hi,
I bought the G1 for ATT and unlocked it and everything works PERFECTLY.
Except I don't get incoming calls. Outgoing works fine, but all the incoming calls get directed to voicemail. I'm wondering if it's a setting that I have to change. I can't figure it out.
Help!

In 'Settings > Call Settings', you have two options there, one is the 'Voicemail no.', make sure it is not set and second is the 'Call Forwarding', make sure "Always Forward" is disabled.

Thanks for your help. Truly appreciate it. I set the Voicemail no. to blank. I changed the call forwarding to disabled. However the 3 or 4 underneath 'call forward' aren't able to be changed. They are lines like, 'call forwarding when busy'. I tried disabling them but the system keeps returning the number to the default ATT voicemail system. I'm unable to disable those.
I tried calling my phone again and the same thing occurs, incoming calls are automatically sent to voicemail.

It says the following:
kila-user 1.0 TC4-RC29 115247 ota-rel-keys, release-keys
It's really weird. I experimented and changed the call forwarding number to my house line and that actually worked. I can forward incoming calls to my house line, but I can't get my own incoming calls to the G1.

you can try with a different SIM. If the problem is solved, call up ATT, if the problem remains with other SIM too, call up T-Mobile.

Before I start calling up ATT, will I get in trouble? Not sure if any of this is legal and what not. Kinda scared to call ATT up telling them I have the Tmobile G1 phone or calling Tmobile up to ask them about helping me about an ATT sim problem.
Sorry this is my first time unlocking a phone so I don't know the rules.

Unlocking isnt illegal. The phone belongs to you. No worries.

I tried another sim card and the same problem occurs. I have an ATT 3g sim card.
I guess I'll go into the T-mobile store and ask the reps there to help me. I can't figure this out.

has anyone figured out a solution to this problem yet? I'm still using a phone that can't receive incoming calls.
