Alpha 680, one of the first netbooks to use Android, has generated quite an interest among netbook aficionados.
The netbook is based on an ARM11 CPU running at 533 MHz and sports a 7″ LCD screen at 800 by 480 pixels, 128MB DDR2 RAM (expandable to 256 MB), 1GB SSD drive (expandable to 4 GB), Wi-Fi, keyboard and touchpad.
On the downside, there’s incompatibility with some of the Android apps in the Market. It is expected to hit the market in Q3 for around $250.
